Magnus Perlestam (f. 1964), docent i historia, verksam vid Mittuniversitet i Sundsvall. Hans forskning har rört ämnen som kulturanalys och manlighetsforskning, med speciellt fokus på den militära sfären under senkarolinsk tid. År 2008 utkom han med boken Lydnad i karolinernas tid....
